Description
Redox-C is a food supplement and injection form of the active ingredient Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Vitamin C is an antioxidant that is essential to strengthen and maintain the structure of teeth, bones and connective tissue. The most common conditions treated by a vitamin c injection are for the treatment or prevention of scurvy and enhancing wound healing. Some people may also use the medication to meet raised vitamin c requirements such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, heavy smokers or in patients recovering from surgery.

There is a limit on how much vitamin C can be absorbed orally, injections are more effective with patients needing large dosages.
